Some actors and actresses leave no stone unturned to fit perfectly into the shoes of their on screen characters.

In Tigmanshu Dhulia’s upcoming film Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 2, Mahie Gill‘s character had to appear drunk in some scenes. To make sure she looked her part, the actress apparently started drinking at 8 in the morning.

According to a source Mahie herself came up with the idea of becoming drunk in real for the scenes.

“At times I used to drink vodka at 8 am and get high on it. Though the weather was so hot in Gujarat, the crew had a ball of a time seeing me drinking and getting high early morning,” says Mahie Gill.

Actress Sujibala attempts suicide

Tamil Actress Sujibala attempted suicide. The hot actress was said to be unhappy over the wedding fixed by her family.

Sujibala’s wedding was scheduled to be held today, Aug.27, but in an ugly twist she consumed sleeping pills and later admitted to a hospital in Nagercoil by her family members.

Sources say, Sujibala was in love with a dance master. But, her parents had fixed her marriage with Ravikumar, director of an upcoming film titled ‘Unmai’, where Sujibala plays a crucial role.

After emergency treatment given in the ICU, the actress is out of danger now and expected to be discharged from the hospital.

Now this picture has left us stunned! Katrina Kaif attended the special screening of her recently released film Ek Tha Tiger with ex-flame Salman Khan. While most people present at the event had their eyes hooked on to the blockbuster Khan, we could not take our eyes off Katrina for a very special reason.

Generally, in the Indian context and more so as per Hindu practice a woman wears red vermilion (orsindoor) in her hair parting when she is married. As far as we know, Katrina is single and Salman is just her good friend. The teeka seen in the picture is snugly placed at the very beginning of Kat’s hair parting and not in the centre of her forehead – like it would be for a bindi.

Now this has left us confused. Is this a case of us looking too hard at a photograph and interpreting it in the wrong way, or have we just unearthed a well guarded secret that was waiting to spill out some day?

Maattrraan’ is touted to be hitting the screens on Sep 19th

Kareena Kapoor’s ‘Heroine’ trailer angers Dubai residents

In the trailer, Kapoor’s character says: “You media people should be writing scripts. If a heroine buys a car, it’s gifted to her by a businessman. If she goes to Los Angeles, she’s getting plastic surgery done and, God forbid, if she goes to Dubai, you people make a rate card for her.”

Discussing this line, Bhandakar explained: “When Kareena Kapoor says it in the film, she has this point of view that such is people’s perception. I think there have been films where Dubai is linked with the underworld.”

The filmmaker added: “The trailer we showed in Dubai was already censored and I’ll sit down with the producer and see what needs to be done.”
